Peters Construction Group will be completing the replacement of the watermain on West Street, south of Sugarloaf Street, on behalf of the City of Port Colborne. Construction is scheduled to begin on January 27, 2025, with an anticipated completion date of February 28, 2025, weather permitting.
Residents in the area or those passing through may experience construction-related disturbances, including noise. Water service disruptions will be minimal but will occur during various stages of the project as the new watermain is connected to the existing network. Any residents directly impacted will receive advance notice via hand-delivered letters from the City and the contractor.
