“On behalf of City Council and staff, thank you for doing your part in keeping our community safe,” said Mayor Bill Steele. “With almost 50 per cent of Niagara residents fully vaccinated, it’s encouraging to see us progress through the provincial roadmap to reopening. As we move to Step 3, I ask that residents continue to be mindful of public health directives and of course, be kind to one another. With the warmer weather here, it’s the perfect time to explore Port Colborne and support local. It’s been a very long year and a half, but I’m confident we will continue to make positive strides and move forward in the right direction.”
