Live music will once again fill Port Colborne’s waterfront when the City’s Community Concert Series returns for the 2025 summer season.
Taking place live in the bandshell at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park, the concerts will begin at 7 p.m. on various Friday evenings throughout the summer months.
Admission is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item, which will be collected and donated to Port Cares.
This year’s performers include an array of styles to entertain residents and visitors alike.
The 2025 performers are:
- Shania Twin, a Shania Twain tribute on June 20
- Hot Wax Meltdown, who will play ‘60s and ‘70s hits on July 4
- The Bomb, a retro ‘80s live experience on July 18
- Strictly Hip, a Tragically Hip tribute on Aug. 15
- The Caverners, Canada’s premier Beatles tribute show on Aug. 29
- Taylor’s Story, a Taylor Swift tribute on Sept. 12
Port Colborne Mayor William Steele said the live concerts have become an annual tradition.
“I can’t wait to see everyone out rockin’ and rollin’ in the park while giving back to Port Cares,” he said. “These concerts have become a fantastic summer gathering point for our community, and it’s always phenomenal to see the talented musicians performing in such a picturesque setting.”
