The Niagara Region will be completing routine maintenance on watermain valves along Highway 140, between Main Street East and Chippawa Road.
The maintenance is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 14, between 9 a.m. and noon.
Residents within the area may notice a temporary decrease in pressure or discoloration of their water. Discoloration is normal and may be fixed by simply running your cold water tap for a short period of time until the water is clear. The City is working with the Region to flush the local watermains while the exercise is completed to help mitigate any issues.
The City of Port Colborne thanks residents for their patience and co-operation as we complete these important infrastructure works.
