The Council of The Regional Municipality of Niagara is seeking community members to join a number of its Committees. Serving on a Committee is a great way to provide valuable insight, get involved and play a key role in the future of your community. - Accessibility Advisory Committee
- Agricultural Policy and Action Committee
- Humberstone Landfill Site Public Liaison Committee
- Niagara Road 12 Landfill Site Public Liaison Committee
- Waste Management Planning Steering Committee
- Women’s Advisory Committee
Regional Council has approved a Code of Conduct for members of the public on Niagara Region Advisory Committees. Members of the public appointed to Regional Advisory Committees will be required to acknowledge that they have read and understand their obligations as a Committee member under this Code of Conduct.
Members of the public interested in applying for a committee may complete the online application form.
Application forms may also be printed and delivered to Niagara Region Headquarters at 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold or mailed/emailed to:

Deadline for applications is no later than Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 4 p.m.
Please mark your envelope with the name of the Committee to which you are applying.
Personal information received in response to the application process is subject to provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Privacy Protection Act. The information will be used for the purpose of completing the committee selection process. If appointed to a committee, your personal information may also be used by Regional staff to conduct committee and Region business.
