In observance of Thanksgiving, all municipal offices, including City Hall, will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2024. Our team will be back on Tuesday, October 15, at 8:30 a.m. to assist you via phone, email, walk-in, or by appointment.
For urgent Public Works matters, you can reach our after-hours dispatch by calling 905-835-5079. For non-emergencies, feel free to submit a service request using our online form at www.portcolborne.ca/requestaservice.
Please note that Niagara Region Transit NRT Microtransit will not be operating on Monday, October 14. However, there are no changes to Niagara Region’s waste collection schedule.

- Port Colborne Farmers' Market, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Market Square. Grab fresh produce and local goodies for your Thanksgiving table. Lace up for a FREE Public Skating at Vale Health & Wellness Centre
- 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. presented by Algoma Central Corporation
Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13

- Sunday: 2:30 - 4 p.m.

- Visit the Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum and explore Heritage Village and the Gift Shop, open daily, including holidays, from 12 – 5 p.m. Find out more at www.portcolborne.ca/museum.
- Stop by the Port Colborne Public Library Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to stock up on books, board games, video games, DVDs, and more for a cozy weekend with family and friends. Learn more at www.portcolbornelibrary.org.
- Visit Nickel Beach. While the beach remains open for autumn strolls, please note that washrooms will be closed for the season starting Saturday, October 12, as we begin winterizing.
