Clarence Street Storm Sewer Construction

Please be advised that Clarence Street, between King Street and West Street, will undergo significant reconstruction starting January 20, 2025. This project includes the installation of a new storm sewer and the complete replacement of asphalt and sidewalks in the construction zone.

Phase 1: Full Road Closure (Approximately 4 Weeks)
To complete the first phase of construction, a full road closure will be required for approximately four weeks. During this time, vehicular traffic will not be permitted; however:

• Pedestrian access will remain open.
• All businesses within the construction zone will be fully accessible.
  Affected businesses have been notified directly.

Phase 2: Partial Road Closures
Following the full road closure, smaller partial closures (e.g., one lane) will be implemented to facilitate sidewalk, curb, and asphalt restoration. This phase is weather-dependent and is tentatively scheduled to begin in late March or early April. All work is anticipated to be completed by the end of May.
