Weather permitting, Public Works staff will be shutting off water on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, beginning at 9 a.m., for a period of nine hours, to homes on Berkley Avenue to replace a hydrant.
Staff will be notifying impacted homeowners and apologize for the inconvenience.
The hydrant replacement is required to improve and maintain safe and reliable drinking water to your home in addition to ensuring fire services has access to water sources.
After water service is restored, homeowners/businesses may experience discoloured water. If the water does not return to normal after running your tap for 10-15 minutes, please call Public Works at 905-835-2900. If you’re calling after-hours, please press ‘9’ to reach our dispatch.
If the water does not return to normal within 10-15 minutes of flushing, or you are not located near the affected area, please call us.
