Beginning in 1999, SportFest, Festival of Sports™, is a February celebration providing family-friendly activities for all ages. This city-wide community Festival of Sports™ attracts participants from across Niagara with proceeds donated to various charities.  

The City of Port Colborne will celebrate winter with the annual SportsFest from February 7 to 9, 2025. Events like volleyball, hockey, sno-pitch, soup cook-off, salsa making competition, music trivia, the Superbowl and so much more will take place throughout the city. 

Join us as a participant or sign up to host an event by completing the Sportsfest Application.

And if you are interested in volunteering, complete the Volunteer Application.

Please be sure to submit your application by Monday, December 16 at 4:30 p.m.

Whether you’re an individual, an organization, or a business, the Polar Plunge welcomes all courageous

hearts ready to get cold and creative in support of a great cause! Every dollar raised will help fund

programs and events for over 23,000 Special Olympics athletes across Ontario.

Registration: Opens at 11:30 p.m. at Sugarloaf Marina, 3 Marina Drive. Facilities include changing

rooms and washrooms to ensure you're prepped for the plunge.

 

The Plunge: Takes place at 1:00 p.m. at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park boat launch (160 Sugarloaf Street).

A warming trailer will be available, but remember to bring a towel or bathrobe, water shoes or runners,

and warm clothes to change into.
