Accessible Washrooms
Thanks to a generous donation from Vale Canada Ltd, Nickel Beach has clean, accessible washrooms available for beachgoers. Located right near the entrance of the beach, the washrooms are open between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily, during beach season (Victoria Day long weekend to Thanksgiving long weekend). Washroom facilities are not available during the winter.

The SplashTown Niagara inflatable waterpark offers a unique combination of thrills, slides and fun activities for kids and families! Please note that this inflatable waterpark is not operated by the City of Port Colborne.

Beach loungers are available for daily rentals for $5 + HST and can be purchased in-person from the beach attendants.

Garbage & Recycling
Nickel Beach is a natural area and we ask visitors to please be respectful of the environment.
Please use the waste receptacles provided, but only discard items that can be discarded in a regular household garbage. If you are using charcoal BBQ or have a leftover propane tank, it’s your responsibility to dispose of it correctly. Please don’t litter or leave BBQ waste at the beach.
