The City of Port Colborne is proud to announce the launch of its new community logo, a symbol designed to capture the essence of our vibrant city and honor its rich marine heritage. Intended to foster a sense of belonging and unity, the logo will be available for members of our community to wear proudly on hats, t-shirts, sweaters and more. Residents and visitors are invited to display their Port Colborne pride by wearing the new logo around town and beyond.

Main Street West Closure to complete repairs at the rail crossing

Please be advised that Main Street West, between King Street and Canal Bank Road, will be temporarily closed July 18 - 20, 2023, in order to complete repairs at the rail crossing.
The closure is expected to last three days. During this time, access to Main Street West within the designated area will be restricted, and alternative routes should be utilized (see map below).

School is officially out for summer and the first long weekend of the summer is here in Port Colborne!
Municipal offices, including City Hall, will be closed Monday, July 3, 2023, to observe Canada Day. Staff will return Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.

At their meeting last night, Port Colborne City Council adopted a new strategic plan for 2023-2026 that reflects the city’s ambitions toward climate change adaptation, environmental protection, public infrastructure, health and livability, and economic stability.
