Take Notice that the Council of the City of Port Colborne will hold a Public Meeting to consider a by-law to permanently close part of:
Catherine Street (PIN 64457-0087): Part of Catherine Street (PIN 64457-0087) on the west side of Catherine Street south of 14 Catherine Street abutting the eastern boundary of 12 Catherine Street and being 26.4 m in length and 8.2 m in width.

What: West Street Promenade between Charlotte Street and Victoria Street
Who: Citizens of Port Colborne and visitors
When: May 3-19, all hours
What: Sidewalk Repairs are required along the West Street Promenade between Charlotte Street and Victoria Street. To complete these repairs, the railing will be removed temporarily. The contractor will be blocking off their work sections while the repairs are made to maintain a safe area.

Port Colborne property owners have a responsibility to destroy noxious weeds by May 1, 2023

Where: All residential properties within Port Colborne’s city limits.
Who: Anyone who owns a property in Port Colborne that is 10 acres or less.
When:By May 1, 2023 and throughout the season.
What:
Port Colborne property owners with properties 10 acres or less are required to destroy all noxious weeds on their land by May 1, 2023 and throughout the remainder of the summer season.
Property owners who do not destroy noxious weeds will be charged the cost for the City to complete the weed removal work on...
Public Notice - Vale Health and Wellness Centre Arena Chiller Replacement

Where: Vale Health and Wellness Centre
Who: Citizens of Port Colborne and visitors
When: May 1 – June 5, 2023
What: The arena chiller which is used to cool the ice rinks is scheduled to be replaced. While the chiller is being replaced both ice rinks will be out of service. Residents and leagues can expect ice time to be available starting June 5.
