The City of Port Colborne is looking for resident input on the redevelopment of Lock 8 Gateway Park as part of the overarching 2020-2030 Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
Lock 8 Gateway Park is located at Main Street West and the Welland Canal.

Elm Street Closed between Princess Street and Park Street

Updated Monday, October 16 - Beginning October 18, 2023, the City of Port Colborne will close Elm Street between Princess Street and Park Street for approximately 2 and a half days.
This closure is to accommodate the reconstruction of the Elm Street Rail Crossing. It is expected that the road will reopen as of October 20 at 12 p.m., weather permitting.

Forkes Road closed between Brookfield Road and South Koabel Road for roadside ditching

Beginning Wednesday, October 11, 2023, the City of Port Colborne will close Forkes Road between Brookfield Road and South Koabel Road for approximately 10 to 15 days, weather permitting.
This closure will take place during the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate roadside ditching.
Motorists should follow the posted signs to detour around the closure.
The road will remain open for emergency vehicles.
