Annual Road Line Painting will begin May 10

Where: City of Port Colborne

Who: Residents of Port Colborne and visitors

When: May 10-19, 2023

What: The City of Port Colborne will begin its annual road painting for center and shoulder lines on May 10 to 19. This includes all urban and rural areas. Residents are advised to not pass the equipment while centerlines are being painted, as the wet paint may splash onto their vehicle.

Pedestrian Bridge Repairs to begin on May 23 at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park

Starting Tuesday, May 23, Rankin Construction Inc. is scheduled to begin construction on the pedestrian bridge at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park with an anticipated completion date of June 8, 2023. During the construction period an area of the parking lot at Sugarloaf Marina will be blocked off to provide space for the contractor to complete the repairs.

Public Notice - West Street Promenade Sidewalk Closure

What: West Street Promenade between Charlotte Street and Victoria Street

Who: Citizens of Port Colborne and visitors

When: May 3-19, all hours

What: Sidewalk Repairs are required along the West Street Promenade between Charlotte Street and Victoria Street. To complete these repairs, the railing will be removed temporarily. The contractor will be blocking off their work sections while the repairs are made to maintain a safe area.
