Watermain Break – Main St. W

City of Port Colborne Public Works crews are responding to a watermain break on Main St. W between King St. and Elm St. 

 Main St. W will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10 until approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 while crews work to repair the break. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles only.

 Residents and businesses in the area may experience a disruption in water service.

Fire code violation conviction - 154 Fares Street

On Jan. 26, 2023, the owner of 154 Fares Street was convicted of four offences in Provincial Offences Court failing to comply with the Ontario Fire Code. The owner was fined $5,000 plus court costs, in accordance with the provision of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act.
