City given grant to help small businesses with digital transformation

Through renewed investment in Digital Main Street’s Ontario Grants Program (OGP), the City of Port Colborne has received $19,000 to help local small businesses with digital transformation.

Multi-Use Trail closed September 20 – 24

The Multi-Use Trail, also known as the Dain City Trail, that runs between Port Colborne and Welland, will be closed Monday, Sept. 20 to Friday, Sept. 24, as City crews replace multiple sections of deteriorated asphalt. The trail will be closed 24 hours a day, and signs will be posted at the entrances. Cyclists will be redirected to Elm Street if looking to commute from Port Colborne to Welland.

Bridge 19 Closure - Main Street Bridge - Sept. 20

Bridge 19, the Main Street Bridge, will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Monday, September 20 from 9 a.m. - noon.

South end of King Street closed September 18 – 20

Starting tomorrow, the south end of King Street will be closed as Abell Pest Control conducts fumigation work at ADM Milling. The anticipated road closure is 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, until 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20.
The south end of King Street will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicular traffic. During this time, only emergency services will have access.

Construction happening at H.H. Knoll Friday, Sept. 17

Please be advised the base of H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park around the playground will be paved tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 17. Contractors will be onsite from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, the playground equipment will be unavailable for use. Please see map below for details: Questions?
