City of Port Colborne seeking input on revised noise by-law

The City of Port Colborne is proposing an amendment to their current noise by-law and are looking for public to input. Currently, noisemaking and construction noise is permitted Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., with no noise allowed on Sunday or any Statutory holidays. The proposed amendment would see an extension in noisemaking hours from Monday-Saturday and the addition of noisemaking hours on Sunday and Statutory holidays.

With barks, woofs, and howls, dogs will take to Port Colborne’s Nickel Beach to celebrate an area they can call their own.
The City will celebrate the addition of a new Dog Zone at Nickel Beach with a day of lakeside activities for furry friends Saturday, June 15.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., local pet businesses, humane societies and by-law officers will be at the beach at 69 Lake Road to provide pet parents with important information regarding safe and responsible pet ownership.
