Easter Weekend in Port Colborne

Port Colborne’s Farmers’ Market

Pick up fresh produce, breads, baked goods and flowers just in time for Easter weekend.

WHEN: Thursday, April 18, 2019 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.

WHERE: The Farmers’ Market is located directly across from City Hall, 66 Charlotte Street. There is a free two-hour time limit parking on all downtown streets.

Easter Eggstravaganza, including an Easter Egg Hunt and FREE Family Fun!

WHEN: Saturday, April 20, 2019 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Easter Shows: 10 a.m. & 12 p.m.
Join Cindy Cook from Polka Dot Door for two Easter Shows. There will be an Easter Bunny Meet & Greet before each show and a Bunny Hug after!

Face Painting: 10 a.m. with Niagara Face Painters.

Egg Hunt: 11 a.m. start *Note: Cash donations are accepted at registration.

The Easter Egg Hunt will take place outdoors by the Vale Health & Wellness Centre entrance, however, if inclement weather the egg hunt will take place indoors on the Walking Track.

Free Open Swim: 1 - 4 p.m. – YMCA Pool
Free Family Skate: 1 - 2 p.m.

WHERE: Vale Health & Wellness Centre, 550 Elizabeth Street, Port Colborne

Port Fire Easter Food Drive

Help Port Colborne Fire & Emergency Services support Port Cares, the Reach Out Centre and food bank. Items currently needed are canned fruits, vegetables and meats; rice; baby formula and food; large juice bottles; peanut butter; baked beans; powdered milk; pasta and sauce; deodorant; shampoo and soap. Cash donations are accepted.

WHEN: Saturday, April 20, 2019 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

WHERE: Sobeys, 287 West Side Road, Port Colborne

Make Wildflower Seed Bombs

For all ages. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $2 per registrant.

WHEN: Saturday, April 20, 2019 3 – 4 p.m.

WHERE: Port Colborne Public Library, 310 King Street, Port Colborne

Holiday Closures

Municipal offices at City Hall, 66 Charlotte Street, the Roselawn Centre, and Sugarloaf Marina office will be closed Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 22.

Port Colborne Public Library will be closed Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22, but will be open on Saturday, April 20.
