Hours of Service

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday, Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Programming for CHILDREN

Sunflower Painting Thurs. Apr. 4, 4 – 5 p.m. Kids will learn shading and texture techniques to create a sunflower painting. Acrylic on canvas. Cost is $5. For ages 6+. Pre-register.

Wildflower Seed Bombs Sat. April 20, 3 – 4 p.m. Seed bombs are an easy way to grow native wildflowers. Cost is $2. All ages. Children 5 & younger must be accompanied by a caregiver. Pre-register.

Family Music Makerspace

Families can reserve a one-hour time slot on Saturdays to play our new musical instruments: guitar, piano, drums, ukuleles, bells and shakers. Instruments were made possible through a partnership with Healthy Kids Community Challenge (2015-2018). FREE. Pre-register.

Tot Time

THURSDAYS, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Stories, crafts and circle-time. Ages 2 - 5 accompanied by a parent/caregiver. $1/class. Pre-register.

Therapy Tails

MONDAYS, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. All ages. Make a new friend and read a tale or two to a Therapy Tails dog. FREE. Drop-in.

Programming for TEENS

Dungeons and Dragons Thurs. Apr 25, 4 – 6 p.m. Learn the basics of D&D -- the classic fantasy role-playing game. Beginners welcome. Ages 12+. FREE. Pre-register.

Programming for ADULTS

Eclectic Readers Book Club Meets the first Monday of the month, Sept. to June, 1:30—2:30 p.m. Call the library at 905-834-6512 for information.

Documentary Film Programme

Wed. Apr. 3, 2019, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Ancient Roads--Birth of a Faith (2015, 55 min.) and Losing Our Religion (2017, 86 min.). FREE

Crafts for Adults Mon. Apr. 8, 2019, 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. “Springtime Bunny.” Acrylic painting on canvas. Cost is $10. Pre-register.

Introduction to Universal Class Thurs. Apr. 11, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Port Colborne Library cardholders have access to over 500 FREE online continuing education courses. Universal Class offers personal and professional development courses with the ability to learn at your own pace and to print certificates of achievement upon completion.

Mindfulness and Self Care Thurs. Apr. 25, 6 – 7 p.m. Learn how to practice mindfulness and self-care in this one-hour workshop. Wilson Archives. FREE. Tickets available at your Library.
