Road Closure & Water Service Disruption

WHAT: Charlotte Street will be closed between Steele Street and Fielden Avenue. Water service disruptions will impact homes on Steele Street from Charlotte Street to Clarence Street and on Charlotte Street from Steele Street to Fielden Avenue. Affected homeowners will receive notification from the Utilities Department on Friday, September 13.

WHEN: Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., or longer if necessary.

WHY: Staff will be repairing a deficient water main valve to maintain water quality and delivery to neighbouring homes, school, and daycares, in addition to fire flow protection.

Drivers and pedestrians are being asked to avoid this area as crews will be operating heavy equipment.
