Easter Weekend in Port Colborne

The City of Port Colborne’s operations will be closed on Friday, April 10, 2020 and Monday, April 13, 2020 to observe Good Friday and Easter Monday.

With the exception of:

· Bylaw Division and enforcement of provincial closures and exceptions. To report concern over a business operating in contravention of emergency orders or gathering of groups of people in Port Colborne contact our Bylaw Department until 4:30 p.m. by email at bylawenforcement@portcolborne.ca.

After 4:30pm, please call Niagara Region’s dispatch line at 905-984-3690 or 1-877-552-5579 for further bylaw response and assistance. Do not call 9-1-1.

For all COVID 19 health matters and/or inquiries, please call the Public Health hotline at 905-688-8248 or 1-888-505-6074 (press option 7 then follow the prompts).

· COVID-19 Emergency Operations Centre (EOC); and

· For an after-hours emergency requiring the road and/or water departments, call 905-835-5079.

City operations will resume on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Although the Easter Bunny has been declared an essential service the Easter Bunny will not be visiting the Vale Health & Wellness Centre and has cancelled the Easter Eggstravaganza. The Easter Bunny hopes to return next year!

We are reminding residents to limit Easter/holiday celebrations to those who live within the same household only and to continue following the guidelines and restrictions put in place during this pandemic to help limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
