COVID - 19 | Face Coverings

Port Colborne, we have been receiving your inquiries about mandatory face coverings/masks at indoor spaces in our city. Staff in the City’s Emergency Control Group are waiting for Regional Council’s decision regarding a mandatory mask by-law on July 23 (which was deferred by two weeks) before providing advice to Port Colborne’s City Council. Mayor Steele and Regional Councillor Butters are Port Colborne's representatives

The Ontario Government and Niagara Region Public Health are recommending the use of face coverings when physical distancing is challenging or not possible to protect others and help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Follow these tips on the proper use of face coverings during COVID-19

Stay healthy and safe while you #PORTicipate, Port Colborne.
