Water Services Restored - Catharine Street northbound remains closed.

Water services have been restored to residents in the area of Catharine Street from Adelaide Street to Sugarloaf Street and Sugarloaf Street from Catharine Street to King Street.

 

Homeowners will be required to flush their lines, using the lowest cold water tap closest to the water meter in the house for at least 15-20 minutes.  However, due to the magnitude of this water main break, it may take longer. If the water does not return to normal after running your tap for 30 minutes, please contact the Engineering and Operations Department at 905-835-5079.

 

Catharine Street northbound will remain closed until further notice. Drivers are being asked to avoid this area due to heavy equipment.  Sidewalks on the east side of Catharine Street are also closed.
