Special Weather Statement for Jan. 11 & Jan. 12

Port Colborne is currently under a special weather statement with significant rainfall totaling 50 mm expected Saturday, Jan. 11 and strong southwest winds expected Sunday, Jan. 12.

With this projected forecast both flooding and power outages are possible. The City of Port Colborne and Canadian Niagara Power Inc. have already met and are preparing for this weekend's storm.
