Public Notice | Limited access to entrance of Port Colborne General Hospital on April 7, 2020

Posted by Corporate Communications on Friday, April 3rd, 2020

On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, the City of Port Colborne will be limiting access to the entrance of the Port Colborne General Hospital Site from Steele Street to install a sewer lateral at 20 Steele Street. The work is expected to take approximately 8 to 10 hours. The Emergency entrance will remain accessible. Drivers must travel down Fielden Avenue, west along the lake in front of Northlande Point and enter the emergency parking lot off Steele Street. The main entrance off of Sugarloaf Street will only be accessible by pedestrians.

Water and sanitary services to the hospital will not be impacted.

We apologize for this inconvenience; however, repairs and changes to our sanitary sewer mains and laterals are necessary to ensure a high level of service.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely,

City of Port Colborne
