Economic Rapid Response Team launches third survey of Niagara businesses

Niagara’s Economic Rapid Response Team (ERRT) is taking a data-driven approach to Niagara’s economic recovery from COVID-19, and is asking businesses to help inform that process through a brief online survey.

The survey is open to all Niagara businesses, regardless of size, sector or community. Businesses can access the survey online.

The survey closes on Friday, April 16 and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. It follows two previous business impact surveys conducted in 2020....

Niagara Region Public Health COVID-19 vaccination clinic opens in Fort Erie

Today marks the opening of the COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Leisureplex in Fort Erie, following successful runs in Niagara Falls, Welland and Grimsby.

This morning Niagara saw several thousand new appointments booked as the provincial booking portal opened up to Niagara residents who are turning 70 or older in 2021 (born in 1951 or earlier). As a result of this strong turnout, all Niagara area clinics are now fully booked.

The City of Port Colborne is asking residents to PORTicipate online this holiday long weekend with a City of Port Colborne Virtual Easter Challenge.

Starting 8 a.m. on April 1, until 10 p.m. on April 5, the City of Port Colborne’s Virtual Easter Challenge will include activities that can be completed at home or outside, in a socially distance manner, using the GooseChase app. Activities include, Easter related crafts, egg hunt and more.

Ontario Expands COVID-19 Vaccination Booking to Individuals Aged 70 and over in Additional Regions

The Ontario government is extending booking for COVID-19 vaccination appointments to individuals aged 70 and over through its online booking system and call centre in 11 additional public health units on March 29, 2021, following its expansion in Toronto that began on March 27, 2021.
