Councillor Frank Danch

Thanks to the citizens of Port Colborne for trusting me again for my second term.

Born and raised Port Colborne, I think I have a good idea of what our citizens are looking for.

Kim, my wife of 31 years, is a big part of my life helping to manage our family Home Hardware on Main Street. My 26 year old daughter, Stephanie, is a French Immersion teacher and she lives in Bradford near Newmarket with her husband Tim, who works on their family farm in the Holland Marsh. My 23 year old son, Jason, works in Edmonton, Alberta driving what they call a telebelt.

I enjoy outdoor activities like motorcycles, boating, camping and the list goes on.

Should you wish to contact me, best number is my workplace at 905-834-4913. If I'm not there, leave a message with my capable staff and they will get it to me. Thanks everyone.

Frank

Councillor Bea Kenny

Councillor Bea Kenny

I was born and raised in Port Colborne to hard working parents who lived in the rural area of our community. My mother was raised here from an early age and so it was natural for my mother to want her children raised in the same community she grew up in. My husband Wayne and I have been married for forty two years and we have two grown children and five grandchildren, who all reside in the city. My husband is retired and I am casually employed as a patient registration clerk with the NHS.

My parents taught me at an early age that if you want to be part of the community, you must get involved and this is my commitment to you the citizens. I consider myself a City Councillor and I am honoured to serve the residents of Ward Three for another term. I was first elected to council in 1994 for three consecutive terms until 2003. I ran as a mayoral candidate in 2003 and am now in another third consecutive four year term as a Councillor.  I sit on many different committees as listed below with dedicated citizens who only have the well-being of our community in mind.   My community involvement includes the Lions Annual Food Drive, Canal Days and Flavours of Niagara.

I have also served several years as auction chair for the Port Cares annual fundraiser. I am an active member of All Saints Anglican Church and help with many outreach programs associated there.

I believe being elected is like signing a contract between myself and the citizens of my ward. I pledge dedication, commitment, honesty, and a resolve to get the job done.  I will continue to deliver well thought out decisions with you the taxpayer in mind.
