Posted by Corporate Communications on Monday, April 27th, 2020

On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, the City of Port Colborne will be limiting access to the entrance of the Port Colborne General Hospital Site at the intersection of Steele Street and Sugarloaf Street to decommission a sanitary sewer main. The work will begin at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to take approximately 8 to 10 hours. The Emergency entrance will remain accessible. Drivers must travel down Fielden Avenue, west along the lake in front of Northland Pointe and enter the emergency parking lot off Steele Street. The main entrance off Sugarloaf Street will only be accessible by pedestrians.

Water and sanitary services to the hospital will not be impacted.

We apologize for this inconvenience; however, repairs and changes to our sanitary sewer mains and laterals are necessary to ensure a high level of service.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely,

City of Port Colborne
