Resilient Port Colborne - Business Support

Posted by Economic Development on Thursday, April 9th, 2020

The City of Port Colborne wishes to express its gratitude to businesses, which have chosen to establish operations within Port Colborne. The Mayor, Council and staff of the city are aware of the challenges being faced by local businesses, as our business owners and operators do the best they can to survive during these rapidly changing times.

We are aware that some businesses are offering take-out service, others delivery, while a few are promoting gift cards, regardless of the strategy you choose, we are here to support you. In order to support your marketing and promotional efforts, the city is soliciting information to share with the public on how they can shop with and support your business during and after this pandemic. Information collected will be shared with the public on the website and in paid social media and other marketing campaigns.

The objective of this initiative is to increase the public's awareness of the products and services of local businesses that are available and ways in which they can safely support local businesses, while adhering to the necessary health guidelines and precautions. These promotions are scheduled to be launched within the next two weeks pending responses from local businesses.

If you wish to have your business included, we ask that this form be completed and submitted by Thursday April 9, 11:59pm.
Click here to complete the form.

If you have any questions about this initiative, please contact Julian Douglas-Kameka, Economic Development Officer at EDO@portcolborne.ca.
