Partial Trail Closure - Robin Hood Trail

Posted by Corporate Communications on Friday, January 31st, 2020

This notice is to inform the residents and visitors of Port Colborne that a 70-meter portion of the paved trail at the Robin Hood Trail, formally called the Welland Canal Parkway Trail, is closed due to asphalt failure.

Staff have barricaded the 70-meter section on the trail near Jungbunzlauer, adjacent to Elm Street, with fencing directing trail users to the gravel trail alongside the paved trail, until further notification. Trail users are asked to use caution due to the uneven surface of the gravel trail.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this closure.

For a complete list of alternate trails within the municipality, visit http://portcolborne.ca/page/trails.
