Carter Street to become one way during water main project

Posted by Michelle Cuthbert on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019

This notice is to inform the residents of Port Colborne that the Carter Street water main project will begin this week, starting Wednesday, May 22, 2019 and will continue for a 5-6 week period. During this construction period, Carter Street will become a one-way, with access from Steele Street only. Cotton Inc. is the onsite contractor and they will be managing traffic control beginning May 22, 2019. There will be no parking on the south side of Carter Street and limited parking on the north side. Below is the map outlining the changes and traffic control.

Heading to a show at the Roselawn Centre? Parking will be limited and alternate parking locations are being investigated by staff for upcoming shows, with the first Showboat Festival season opening on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

We appreciate residents and visitors patience during this time as we work to improve services to our water system.
