Posted by Michelle Cuthbert on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019

City Public Works Staff will be performing maintenance to the watermain / services, including sewer and storm sewer systems, at 277-279 Welland Street on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. As a result, there will be a partial road closure in the following area:

- Welland Street from Alma Street to Fraser Street.

Drivers and pedestrians are to avoid this intersection since crews will be operating heavy equipment.

City Public Works Staff will be returning to perform maintenance at 277-279 Welland Street on Tuesday, Jan. 8 and Wednesday, Jan. 9 (with Thursday, Jan. 10 as an alternate weather date) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. As a result, there will be a full road closure in the following area:

- Welland Street from Alma Street to the north and south entrance of Fraser Street.

The purpose of this work is to improve services to the two plots to allow for additional housing opportunities in the city.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during these times.
