Boggio Family of Pharmacies is building into the future of Port Colborne.

Boggio Family of Pharmacies were joined by Port Colborne Mayor John Maloney, Scott Luey and Len Stolk of Stolk Construction to break ground on a 20,000 square foot addition to their pharmacy located on Catharine Street in Port Colborne.

The entire Boggio Family gathered, including Larry Boggio, his wife Cathy and their children/business partners Aaron, Kyle and Sue as well as her husband Tom Napper and their two children Nixon and Nala.  Larry’s long-time business partner Donnie Edwards donned hard hats with everyone for the momentous occasion.
Boggio Groundbreaking
“This expansion and renovation will completely change customer experience and allow us to expand and modernize our dispensary, home health care department and our service department,” explains Larry Boggio, Owner of Boggio Family of Pharmacies. “Our goal is always to help meet the healthcare needs of the community and to do that we need more space.”

Boggio Pharmacy is currently 10,000 square feet, meaning that this expansion will triple the pharmacy’s footprint. When the dust settles the pharmacy will have a fully equipped home health department showroom that features wheelchairs, hospital beds, scooters, walkers and other mobility and safety aids. Customers will work with Home Health Care Experts to find the devices they need to continue living safely and independently.

The expanded location will also boast new physician offices on the second floor, helping to create a ‘one-stop-shop’ for local residents who need assistance from physicians and pharmacists to achieve their health care goals.

“The expanded and modernized facility will help us not only meet the current needs of our customers and patients, but allow us to meet them well into the future,” explained Aaron and Kyle Boggio, Owners at Boggio Family of Pharmacies.
