Jaroslawski takes over as former manager Edith Wagner retires
There’s a new face behind the desk at the Port Colborne Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce.
Jackie Jaroslawski recently took over for Edith Wagner as the chamber’s office manager, and brings with her a wealth of experience and an eagerness to help local small businesses. Jaroslawski, a Welland native, comes originally from the heating and air conditioning field but has held a wide variety of positions in the business field.
“I’m looking forward to reaching out to local businesses,” she said.
“The chamber is excited to have Jackie on board and we look forward to growing the chamber membership under her management,” said chamber president Patti Stirling.
Jaroslawski has been, or currently is, involved with such organizations as the Business Builders Club of Niagara, Networking in Niagara, and the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce.
And while she’s from Welland, Jaroslawski said she has much experience in Port Colborne and Wainfleet.
“I grew up coming to Port Colborne (all the time),” she said, noting Welland shares a lot in common with Port Colborne and Wainfleet.
Wagner retired from the chamber after seven years as the office manager.
