Please note that a ward boundary review was conducted in 2009 and minor changes were made to Wards 2 and 4. The maps below reflect these changes. If you have questions you can contact the Municipal Offices at (905) 835-2900.

Ward 1:

Ward One Description:

  • on the East by the centre line of the Welland Ship Canal;
  • on the South by Lake Erie;
  • on the West by the centre line of the road allowance lying to the east of the City of Port Colborne city limits; and,
  • on the North by a line described as follows:
  • Commencing at a point in the centre line of the Welland Ship Canal, which said point would be intersected by the production easterly of the centre line of Delhi Street;
  • Thence westerly along the said production and along the centre line of Delhi Street to a point in the centre of Steele Street;
  • Thence southerly along the centre line of Steele Street to the northerly limit of the Canadian National Railway right-of-way;
  • Thence westerly along the northerly limit of the said Railway right-of-way to a point in the said Railway right-of-way to a point in the centre line of the road allowance lying immediately east of the City of Port Colborne city limits.

Ward Two Description:

  • on the West the centre line of the Welland Ship Canal and the westerly channel of the same, known as the weir or the Third Welland Canal;
  • on the South by Lake Erie;
  • on the East and North by a line described as follows:
  • Commencing at a point in Lake Erie, which said point would be intersected by the production southerly of the centre line of Reuter Street;
  • Thence northerly along the said production and along the centre line or Reuter to a point in the centre of Killaly Street East;
  • Thence easterly along the centre of Killaly Street East to a point in the centre of Elizabeth Street;
  • Thence north to a point north of Chippawa;
  • Thence south-west to a point in the centre of the Welland Ship Canal.

Ward Three Description:

  • on the North by the City of Port Colborne city limits;
  • on the West by the City of Port Colborne city limits;
  • on the South by a line described as follows:
  • Commencing at a point in the centre line of the Welland Ship Canal, which said point would be intersected by the production easterly of the centre line of Delhi Street;
  • Thence southerly along the centre line of Steele Street to the northerly limit of the Canadian National Railway right-of-way;
  • Thence westerly along the northerly limit of the said Railway right-of-way to a point in the said Railway right-of-way to a point in the centre line of the road allowance lying immediately east of the City of Port Colborne city limits.
  • on the East by the lands to the west of the Welland Ship Canal and the lands west of the westerly channel of the same, known as the weir or the Third Welland Canal.

  • on the South by Lake Erie;

  • Thence northerly along the said production and along the centre line of Reuter to a point in the centre of Killaly Street East;
  • Thence easterly along the centre of Killaly Street East to a point in the centre of Elizabeth Street;
  • Thence north on Elizabeth Street to a point north of Chippawa;
  • Thence south-west to a point in the centre of the Welland Ship Canal;
  • Thence north to the city limits.
