Port Colborne Energy Park
Eventual industrial development of the Site "A" and Site "B" lands have been a City priority since the lands were acquired in the early 1990s and 2005. As such, the City's Strategic Plan supports the efforts to see these lands developed as industrial lands.
The City and NYON Oil Inc. currently have an agreement to develop the "Energy Park" lands and the City is also a party to the OMB appeal proceedings initiated by NYON Oil Inc.
City Council has been receiving on "an as required basis", updates on the NYON "Energy Park" proposal. The pages contained herein are a compilation of the various reports, updates, and studies regarding this project.
